Through Health and P.E. I hope to educate the students on such topics as substance abuse and wise nutritional choices as well as expose the students to various forms of physical activities so they may find one or more they enjoy and continue so they may lead a long, healthy and prosperous lives.

 

I was born in Philadelphia and come to live in Statesville after a 5 year stay in Kill Devil Hills, a small town in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I am happily married and have a beautiful little girl who attends the Dual-Immersion Program at East Elementary School and a 1 year old little boy in daycare.  

I graduated from Elizabeth City State University in 2007 with a degree in Health and Physical Education. I did my student-teaching at North Iredell High School and I am  dual certified in Health and Physical Education as well.
