Northview Library Media Mission Statement

Northview Media Center is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and caring environment for students while promoting reading and providing resources and technology to support communication skills and holistic learning; students will be encouraged to become lifelong learners with a compassion and understanding for people from different cultures.  
 
Iredell-Statesville School System Middle School Library Media Mission Statement
As middle school Media Specialists, we will teach the Big 6 process (Design Cycle at Northview), promote the use of Destiny, and collaborate with teachers in planning technology based lessons in order to meet our goal of integrating 21st Century skills in the classrooms.
 
Help Raise Money for Library Books
Turn in your used ink and toner cartridges, cell phones, and laptops to the media center for recycling.  If you know of a business that is willing to collect ink cartridges for the library, please contact Mrs. Gibson at sgibson@iss.k12.nc.us with the information. Items can be picked up on site.
