Our Rules
 
Every classroom in our school has the same 3 rules.  Be safe, Be respectful, and Be responsible.  These rules are explained in detail to the students the first few weeks of school and are currently reviewed throughout the year.
 
East has a school wide discipline policy.  Every classroom teacher and enhancement teacher follows the same policy.  The students have "pockets" with their names on them and when they get in trouble they must pull one of the following cards.
 
Blue Card:  Warning
Green Card:  2nd Warning
Yellow Card:  Parent contacted by phone or note
Red Card:  Principal's Office
 
Automatically these offenses go directly to the office:
  1. Fighting
  2. Cursing
  3. Biting
  4. Hitting another child or teacher
  5. Destroying school property
