About Me
Originally from the great state of New Jersey, I have also lived in Florida and Connecticut. My husband (originally from Morganton) and I have made Catawba County our home. I obtained my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and my Masters and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C. I have four beautiful children ranging from ages 14 to 24, one of which still reside at home and attends CCTL on the Mitchell Campus.
I have been in education for over twenty years serving as an elementary teacher, principal, and assistant principal. It is my personal philosophy that we teach the whole child not just his/her intellectual side. This takes more than one person in a child’s life; it takes the community and family.
