Classroom Mission
Our classroom mission statement will be posted after school begins and the students are able to give their input.
About Me
Hello, my name is Julia Clanton. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas home of the Alamo, Spurs, and many wonderful cultures. After graduating from high school, I went to Baylor University in Waco and received my Bachelors of Science degree in Education. I am currently working on my Masters degree in School Administration at Gardner-Webb University. Since then, I have taught first grade, P.E., third grade, fifth grade, fourth grade and worked as a contract manager. This year will be my 11th year of teaching. I moved to North Carolina five years ago to be closer to my family.
Teaching is my passion and I am so grateful for the privilege of working with the students that come through my door each day. I believe each child is a gift from God and I consider it a great honor to work with each student to help them achieve their goals and be successful. The future is wide open and I want to help my students become the best they can be for whatever their future holds for them.
