Mr. Litton's First Grade Class wants to learn more about reading, math, and all other subject areas.  We want to be ready for second grade by the end of the year.  We will do this by listening to each other, working hard, and always trying our best.

 

About Me!
This will my 11th year here at Celeste.  I taught one year of 5th grade, 6 years in 2nd grade and will begin myfourth  year of teaching 1st grade.  My wife is also a teacher at Scotts elementary where our two daughters also attend school.  Our oldest daughter is in 4th grade this year and our youngest daughter will be in first grade.  We also have a son who is 2 years old .  I am from West Virginia and still find time to visit there often.  I graduated from Fairmont State College in WV with a  Bachelor of Arts in Education in 2001.  In 2007 I completed my National Board For Professional Teaching Standards.  These are standards that are set nation wide and must be demonstrated by taking a test but also doing a video of lessons in the classroom.  I look forward to using my knowledge as an educator and a parent to help each child reach their fullest potential as we move forward throughout this year.
