About Me
 
I love teaching middle school reading!
 
I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to North Carolina in 1994 for a teaching job.  I graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with my degree in education and received my Masters of Education in Reading from UNCC. 
 
I have two daughters and two step-daughters.  In my free-time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and being outdoors.

Our classroom environment is one of success and motivation.  We work hard together to grow as learners and readers.  Students move through three stations including computers, independent reading, and small group with the teacher.  We set class and individual goals to challenge ourselves and have fun while learning!
