Monday Went over last test, discussed DNA Structure
Tuesday: Talked about DNA codes, Nitrogen bases &Mutations of DNA Assignment 26-1& 2 due tomorrow
Wed: Video on mutation, Twins & Clones. Assignments 26-3& 4 due tomorrow
Thurs: Make models of DNA

Week of April 18th to April 22nd:
Monday 18th: Progress report were given out. due back by Wed. 20th.
Monday students working w/ blood types to determine whick bllod types can safely recieve & donate to others through blood transfusions. Lab due Tuesday.
Students are making Bunny Babies based on their results of activity.
Students will be watching The Ryan White story. filmed in Statesville, based on a true story of a boy with hemophilia who contracted AIDS through a blood transfusion.
Week of April 11th to April 15th:
Students should be reading notes over 5 x's daily to prepare for test. Parents should be asking & signning planners daily!

Students will have Human genetics Problem solving problem to complete by Tuesday.
Review for Test this Friday due Thursday.
Will be doing a lab on Blood Typing later in the week.

Great job on 1st Genetics test with class avgerages of 81, 85, 80 & 87.
Studing Lack of Dominance & Sex-linked traits w. Colorblindness & Hemophilia.
Due Tuesday 25-2 Lack of Dominance.
Due Friday 25-3 Sex Chromosomes.
Given on Friday due Monday April 11th 25-4&5 Colorblind & Hemophilia
Week of March 28th to April 1st:
Students have review sheet to turn in Monday.
We will take a quiz and watch a video on Genes Tuesday
Test: on Genes and Chromosomes Wed. March 30th.
We will begin oue study of Human Genetics after the test on Wed if time.
Obsevered -vs- Expected results, and Lack of Dominances of Incomplete Dominances.
Week of March 21st to 25th:
Students did a wonderful job on thier Cell Reproduction test with class averages of 80% or higher.
Have been going over the 3 gene combinationa & breaking them down into parents sex cell genes. We have been solving word problems. in class. STUDENTS must READ notes over 5 times daily.
Assignment:
24-1 is due Wed. Mar. 23rd
24-2 & 24-3 will be due on Thursday.
Problem Solving wors problems due Friday in class & a quiz is coming ! BE READY.
Test is scheduled for Tuesday of next week hopefully.

This week we started cell reproduction Mitosis. In the green book information begins on page 402. We are making foldable models in class.
Students are to read over their notes five times a day.
