Our mission is to learn all the sixth grade common core math standards so students can be successful on the end of grade exam.

 

My name is Andrew Grant. I received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Louisville. After graduation I spent 27 years in the business world. The first 15 years years I was in manufacturing. During those years I built furniture, microwave ovens, fans, computers, electronic devices and security systems. The next 12 years I spent in the insurance field. I was a safety engineer and traveled the state of North Carolina. I assisted companies with safety inspections and helped them develop safety programs. I have spent the last 7 years in the classroom. I taught two years  of high school algebra and the last five have been middle grades math. I attended Appalachian State University and Lenoir-Rhyne University to complete the education classes necessary to obtain my middle grades math teaching license.

I have been married for the last 40+ years to my wife Margo. We have two son's, the oldest Adam is serving in the Navy assigned to the US Jacksonville Submarine. Our yougest Joe is taking classes at Caldwell Community College and coaching soccer.
