Our Classroom Mission
We are here to learn "8th Grade Science Essentials" so that we can score  a "3" or better on the End of Grade test.  We will measure our progress by assessments and inform ourselves and parents using the individual PDSA forms.
 
Classroom Norms
  • Raise your hand and wait to be call on before answering
  • Keep your hands off of students/teachers and their property
  • Talk only during "your time", not during "teacher time"
  • No Gum
  • Pencils only
  • No inappropriate language
  • Stay on task
  • Respect everyone

About Me

I have a Master's in Biology from Appalachian State University and a Master's in Theology from Life Cristian University   I am also a pastor in a Hispanic church in Statesville.  I enjoy working with teen children of all nationalities.  I take science very seriously and understand the need for future scientific advancement in our nation if we are to remain competitive on the world market.  It's with that incentive in mind that I try to make my science classes practical and real.  Throughout the year we will do many hands on activities to reinforce scientific principals.
