I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida.  Yeah Mickey!!!  I attended Seminole High School in Orlando, Florida.  I graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando ( Go Knights!!) with a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology/Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry.  I am happily married with 2 children.  I have not always been a teacher.  I have many years of practical experience in the science field that I bring to your child.  I have worked in various  laboratories for quite some time.  I have worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in research for many years.  I have worked as a microbiologist for several companies including Procter & Gamble and Environmental Diagnostics.  I have even worked in pharmaceutical marketing as a Microbiolgical Technical Business Manager.  I went into teaching because I had a middle school teacher that inspired me to go into the sciences and I want to be that kind of inspiration to young people.   I really enjoy teaching and being able to bring my practical knowledge to the classroom.
