In the absence of learning, has teaching actually occurred?

 

To provide teachers with the support and coaching needed to allow all students to achieve their potential academically, athletically, and socially.

 

I began my teaching career in 1990 as a Biology teacher at Alexander Central High School.  I also coached men's soccer, women's soccer, and wrestling.

 

In 1999, I moved to West Iredell High School as a Biology, Physical Science, and Earth Science teacher.  I was the men's soccer coach at WIHS from 1999-2004.  In 2003, I was named the state soccer coach of the year.

 

In 2007, I was an assistant principal/instructional facilitator at North Iredell High School.

In 2010, I accepted my current position as principal of North Iredell Middle School.

I have been married for 16 years and have two boys (ages 10 and 7).
