Welcome to the North Middle counseling department!  I look forward to working with you this year. Middle school is an exciting time full of changes for youth.  Many students face challenges that make it difficult to be successful academically.  My role is to support students and they navigate the ups and downs of middle school and adolescence.
 
Students can stop by my office on the 6th grade hall to schedule an appointment with me.  Students may also ask their classroom teacher to contact me to schedule an appointment.

My mission as school counselor at NIMS is to assist students, parents, and teachers by providing opportunities to enhance the academic, social, emotional and physical well-being of students.
 
About Me

Christy Roane

I have been the school counselor at North Middle since 1999.  I love our school, staff, and students!  I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology from ASU in 1996 and my Masters degree in Counselor Education from UNCC in 1998.
