My Mission Statement
 
My mission is to provide a safe learning environment for every student.  I will be proactive in my relationships with students, parents, and the community.  It is my belief that all students at SMS will be career and college ready!
 
 
I am married to a wonderful husband, Jay and have two precious little girls, Elizabeth and Rebecca.  I have lived in Statesville for twelve years.  I attend Broad Street United Methodist Church , where I am a member of the Chancel Choir and Chancel Handbell Choir. 
 
I attended Gardner-Webb University and graduated with a degree in music education. I was the band director at SMS from 2000-2003. I earned my Master's degree in School Administration from UNC-Charlotte and have been serving as an assistant principal with the district. I am excited to be returning to SMS.
