About Me

I am entering my sixth year of teaching here at Lakeshore Middle School and my second year of teaching the sixth grade.  I previously taught 7th grade inclusion Math and Language Arts, as well as Resource.   I am in my 15th year of teaching overall and previously taught in an "Outward Bound" type of alternative school on Long Island, NY.  I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a communications degree and I have earned a Masters Degree from Dowling College, in Special Education.  I have worked exclusively with middle schoool students and I really enjoy working with this age group.

I am married and have three boys (10,8,and 4) and a dog named Patch.  I live in the community and enjoy all the great things that the Mooresville area has to offer, especially the lake.  I love sports and music.  I am a huge football fan and played the game as long as I could before I decided to coach it.  I am now the Head Coach of our Laker Football teams.  My favorite professional football team is the Buffalo Bills, but I have found a worthy team to cheer for in the Panthers and I go to as many games as I can.  My favorite college teams are Rutgers and UCONN (Go Big East!).  In terms of music, I am a drummer and have played professionally for many years prior to teaching.  At this point in my musical career, I give lessons and play in various local ensambles.  I have been committed to playing since I was fourteen and I have not stopped yet.  If you get a chance to come out and see me play drums or go to a Lakeshore football game, come by and say hi!

I am really looking forward to the school year and working with you or your child.  If you have any questions or concerns just email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  Have a great year!!!

Go BILLS!!!
Panters Rock!
