Classroom Mission
 
My classroom mission is to have 100% of my students show individual growth as we focus on our new national Common Core goals for Sixth Grade Language Arts.
 
My personal goal as a teacher is to develop a connection with each student I teach, so I can better understand how to help them enjoy literature and become a lifelong learner in the process!

I love teaching and meeting new students every year! I have been a teacher for
twenty five years, and I have been at Lakeshore Middle School for the last seven years.
 
My husband, Jon Busch, is a teacher a Lake Norman High School and our daughter is a student at the University of North Carolina. Go Heels! Our family also includes our sweet dog , Lexi, the dachshund!
