Students will develop a life-long love for learning; concrete knowledge of the world around them; and respect and compassion for themselves, others, and their environment.
This goal is achieved by having a learning environment that is learner supported and creates a safe emotional, social, and physical space for students. I teach for understanding, have authentic instruction, build a learning community, spend high time on task, encourage student motivation, and teach for multiple intelligences using differentiated instruction.
