My Classroom Mission

This year in First Grade we will learn about reading, math, science, social studies, phonics and writing.  We will follow our classroom rules and treat one another with respect, the way that we would want to be treated.  We will have fun in our classroom while also learning everything that we need to know before going to  Second Grade.

                                      About Me
This is my second year at Shepherd Elementary and loving it! I am originally from Pennsylvania where I taught for 25 years. My husband Dennis and I relocated to sunny North Carolina  three years ago. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren that we visit with as often as possible. Teaching is my passion and I am very excited to be given the opportunity to work with the First Grade students and parents. Together we will make this an awesome year for your child!
