My Mission Statement

It is my mission to ensure the academic proficiency of ALL the students I serve. An administrator is NOT proficient until ALL of his/her teachers are proficient. In turn a teacher is not proficient until ALL of his/her teachers are proficient. Thus, ensuring the educational proficiency of ALL students is a collaborative effort in which I take extreme pleasure in participating.
About Me

While this is my first year at Statesville Middle School, this is my 11th year in education and my 5th year in educational administration. I hold a B.A. in English and a M.Ed. in educational leadership from Clemson University. I also have an Ed.S. in educational leadership from Appalachian State University. Presently, I am completing a Ed.D. in the same area at South Carolina State University.
 
Serving the students of Statesville Middle School is both an honor and a tribute. I am EXTREMELY proud to call myself a bulldog! GO BULLDOGS!
