My Classroom Mission
To engage and challenge students, while providing a safe and respectful learning
environment where students will discover math and science skills to be used throughout life.

I teach eighth grade science at East Iredell Middle School. This is my eigth year at East Middle. I was born and raised in Mentor, Ohio which is about 30 miles east of Cleveland. I earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from Ohio University and a middle school teaching license in math and science from Cleveland State University. I earned a masters in computer technology from Appalachian State University.
I have been married for 19 years. My wife, Leslie, is a Registered Nurse for a family practice doctor. We have two wonderful daughters, Kate and Abby. When I am not in school I enjoy fishing, kayaking, golfing football and NASCAR.
