Welcome to Mr. Lecher's 7th Grade Social Studies Website!

 

My mission is to introduce students to the location, environment and people of Africa, Asia and Australia in order to become culturally aware in a safe and cooperative learning environment.

 

This is my second year teaching Social Studies at East Iredell Middle.  This year we are going to study Asia, Africa, and Australia using the five themes of geography to identify the location, culture, environment and interaction to find what makes each country unique.  My interests include reading and about historical events and being an avid sports fan. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a Masters of Arts in Education Certificate from University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
