Welcome to CCTL North Carolina Virtual Public School Classes(NCVPS) I am the Distance Learning Advisor(DLA) Classroom Mission
All students will succeed in passing their online class.
About Online Classes Students will have a scheduled block during the day in which they will work on their online class. NCVPS provides North Carolina students with expanded academic options by offering online courses in credit recovery, standard, honors, advanced placement, and collegiate courses. All NCVPS courses meet the curriculum content standards that are set forth by the Department of Public Instruction, and all of our courses meet the recognized quality assurance standards for e-learning courses. Students are taught by highly qualified, NC-certified teachers, and the grades that they earn in their NCVPS course will transfer to their local school and become part of their academic record. Students will have a pacing guide provided by each teacher and it will need to be checked daily for assignments that are due. Each student is expected to particpate in all assignments. It is important that all assignments are submitted by the due date to avoid receiving a failing grade. You will need a 1" or 1 1/2" binder to keep your work in. Communication with your teacher and fellow students will be an extremely important part of your class. Your best netiquette behavior is expected. Teachers have a 24 hour time limit to respond to your emails.

I have been with Iredell-Statesville Schools since 1998 and with the online course program since the program started in 2003. I have an Associate's Degree in Admin. Office Technology.
