I will vigorously challenge all of my students to achieve their highest academic potential in math. I will achieve this with the help of my students, their parents, and my colleagues.

I have 36 years of experience teaching students in North Carolina. This is my eleventh year at East Middle.

 

After graduating from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Music degree, I did additional study receiving certification for teaching kindergarten through 6th grade and reading K-12.   I earned a Master's Degree in Education from North Carolina State University and an advanced certificate in Curriculum and Instruction.  Most recently, I received National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist.
