Welcome to all students.  I look forward to a wonderful semester with you.  Thank you to all the parents for sharing your children with me this year. 
 
The Classroom Mission for Mrs. Potts' classes are for everyone in the class to make an 85% or higher in the class and on the end of course test. To graduate from High School.

 
About Me:  I graduated from Appalachian State University where I received my B.S. in Family and Consumer Science with a minor in Management and Marketing.  During the summer of 2009 I received my certification in Family and Consumer Science.  I have taught at  School for fourteen years.  The classes I am teaching this semester are Foods I, Personal Finance and Parenting.
 
I have three children, Garrett a eleventh grader at WIHS, Amber an eighth grader at WIMS and Logan a seventh grader at WIMS.  I and have been married for twenty years. I enjoy reading, going to the beach and mountains and shopping.  I reside in Statesville, NC where I have lived my entire life.
