About Me

BA: History/Social Studies
MAT: Social Studies
 
 
I am from Columbia, South Carolina.  I moved to Rock Hill to attend Winthrop University, and have slowly migrated further north over the years.  I studied History, Social Studies, and Anthropology at Winthrop University.  I also took classes at the University of South Carolina.  I am a die hard Gamecock fan!  But also love Tarheel Basketball!
I futhered my education at Winthrop University again for my masters degree in education.  I selected Winthrop for my education degree because they began as a normal teaching school.  I loved my experience at such a small school.
My love for a small school is one of the reasons why SHS appealed to me.  I love the small student body that even if we do not teach them, we build relationships.  I feel there is nothing better than being a Greyhound!
