About Me
I am so excited to be working with a wonderful staff here at Statesville High School. This is my fourth year at Statesville High School. I have been in the education field for ten plus years. Throughout my teaching experience, I had the pleasure of being a Preschool Teacher, GED/ESL instructor for teens and adults, an Elementary Teacher and currently a Special Education Teacher. I was raised in Baldwin Park, California and lived in Buffalo, New York for over 15 years. I graduated from Villa Maria College with an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I also graduated from Canisius College and received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. I was the first recipient at Villa Maria College to receive an Attendance Award. I furthered my education at Canisius College and graduated with a Masters degree in Special Education. I completed courses from Gardner Webb University in School Administration. Throughout my years of schooling, each semester I was on the deans list or honor roll. I enjoy learning new things which helps me understand my personal and professional growth.
