Welcome! I am the Instructional Facilitator here at Statesville High School.  I am excited to provide instructional support to the students and teachers at SHS.

My Mission
To support schools in the implementation of the ISS Continuous Improvement Model through collaboration, aligned staff development, and coaching.
 
About Me
I'm a graduate of North Iredell High School, UNC-Chapel Hill and Lenoir-Rhyne.  I received National Board Certification in 2002 (AYA-ELA) and renewed in 2011.  I also received my master's degree from Appalachian State University in Educational Media/Instructional Technology.
 
For over 10 years, I taught English as well as yearbook and journalism at Statesville High School, a place that is dear to my heart.  I'm thrilled to work with my Greyhound family and friends and look forward to assisting teachers and students as we work toward academic achievement.
