About Me
I was born and raised right here in Statesville and actually graduated from SHS. I obtained my B.F.A. in Art from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While at UNCG, I played softball and joined many clubs and organizations such as Alpha Phi Omega, the Art Club (to name a few). I am a veteran of the U.S. Army where I received many awards such as the "Outstanding Soldier Award," the "Outstanding Service Award," the "Physical Fitness Award", etc...I have lived in Germany and other places in the U.S...
 
My hobbies include: drawing, painting, singing, playing the piano, softball, basketball, dancing...I just enjoy making the best out of every situation:)...
 
 
My goal as Art teacher here at WIHS is to enable students to enjoy the strategies/processes of each composition they create...
