Mission Statement
I expect the best out of all my students everyday in everything they do.  I believe children learn best when they are provided with hands-on experiences in a safe, caring, and fun environment.
 
About Me
This is my 7th year teaching in North Carolina.  I teach 6th grade math and I am also the cheerleading coach here at East Middle.  I grew up in  Geneva, Illinois and although I miss it at times, I enjoy the warmer weather here!  I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in elementary education with an additional middle grades endorsement.  I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, step-son, and our two adorable dogs. The whole family  loves going to play disc golf, swimming, and spending time outside!
