  • Athletic Boosters Reverse Raffle

    Want to win $10,000? Try your luck with the Reverse Raffle. Tickets are $100 and include a steak dinner for two. Drawing will be held on Saturday, April 9th in the SHS gym. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the raffle countdown begins at 7:00 p.m. You do not need to be present to win. Email Denise Hayes at dhayes@iss.k12.nc.us if interested in purchasing a ticket.

  • North Carolina 10-point grading scale

    In October 2014, the State Board agreed and approved a standard 10-point grading scale to begin with the 2015-16 school year. This scale will not include “pluses” or “minuses” and it will be applied for coursework beginning with the 2015-16 school year for students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.
