WELCOME TO WORLD WORLD HISTORY!

Mr. Micah Roseman

Honors World History:
3 things that need to be done...

I.  Take a survey to help me prepare for your course review:

II.  Please download and review the material presented in each of the following PowerPoint presentations.  Use the guide I gave you in class to accompany the PowerPoint readings.  The material presented here may be asked about on the final exam on Tuesday, June 4th.  It is up to you to take the initiative and prepare!  Please ask me if you have any questions or need help!

III.  Watch the following video clip about "Globalization" found on YouTube.  The narrator will use the example of a t-shirt that you or I may wear to explain ways in which our world is inter-linked.  Be forewarned though:  the narrator does speak really fast so you may need to rewind it a few times to catch everything.

**While you watch, consider the things that make our ownership of a t-shirt possible and what potential global effects are there from our ownership of this t-shirt?

 The End.

About Mr. Roseman:

Great Wall of China

During the 2012-2013 school year, I have the privilege of teaching Advanced Placement World History and Honors World History.  World history is my favorite course to teach and I hope that my students will find  enjoyment in learning more about the development of the world in which we find ourselves.  It is my ultimate intent that students will leave my class with a greater ability to think critically and have the skills to express those thoughts in both speech, word, and action.

I have several additional duties at LNHS including co-sponsoring the student exchange program with Denmark, as well as advising the student organization for the "We Are Overlooked" humanitarian campaign and quiz bowl.  I am currently in my seventh year of teaching at Lake Norman High School.
