Welcome to my Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) course. 

This promises to be a productive year and I look forward to having your student in my class. 
 FACS courses  are set up to be a combination of traditional learning and "hands-on" learning.
 
My Classroom Mission
 
To rigorously challenge all students to achieve their academic potential and to lead productive and
rewarding lives through the study of Family and Consumer Sciences courses.
 
To provide high quality programs for a safe and nurturing environment while promoting

About Me

WVU Mountaineers

                                       
 I have lived in North Carolina for 6 years.  I have 2 boys who are 13 years old and are in the
 
seventh grade at Brawley Middle School.  We have a Black Lab and a cat.
 
I have a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Home Economics Education from Fairmont State University and
 
31 hours toward a Masters in Child Development/Family Studies from West Virginia University.
 
Previously I taught Child Development at Fairmont State University.  I also enjoyed teaching in their Laboratory Preschool.
  
I enjoy traveling, reading, boating, watching college and professional football.
