Hello and welcome to second grade! I am looking forward to a great year. I have been teaching for some time now....and still love it! I have taught middle school for twelve years, survived one semester of high school, and have taught first and second grades. I love teaching second graders the most. I 'm not a native of North Carolina. In fact, I am from the other side of the United States. I am a California girl! I have lived in North Carolina for about fifteen years. I have three brothers and a sister and am the youngest in my family. I am married and have a wonderful husband, Tony, and two children, Morgan and Kevin. Morgan is working for Kraft Foods in Chicago and loving it. My son attends college in at NC Chapel Hill. (Go Tar Heels!) My family enjoys riding bikes, playing on the lake and cheering on the Red Sox and Patriots. We also spend a lot of time working on our house which we built with our own hands!
