Welcome to the classroom website for Mrs. Miller's first grade class.  There is so much fun and exciting learning going on in our classroom everyday! 
 
My Classroom Mission

We will work cooperatively with others, we will try our best, and we will follow directions every day as we prepare for second grade.
 
About Me

I am originally from Vermont and have been living in North Carolina for the past 20 years.  I earned my BA in Elementary Education from UNC-Charlotte.  I have taught first grade in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System and in Lincoln County before coming to Iredell County.  This is my seventh year teaching at Woodland Heights.  I have two daughters, a fourth grader and a sixth grader.  I also have a two year old boy, who loves to smile and play.  I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors with my family, and I love the beach.
