Hello everyone!  I am so glad to be here at Woodland Heights this year.  My family and I are originally from upstate NY.  I have been teaching for 13 years, the last 9 in second grade.  I graduated from SUNY Cortland and received my Masters from UNCW.  I am Nationally Board Certified. I have three children: a daughter who is four, a six year old daughter, who is in first grade at WHE, and an 9 year old son who is in 4th grade also at WHE.  My husband is a principal  in the Kannopolis City School District. I am looking forward to an exciting year helping your child reach their goals.
