This is my eighth  year teaching kindergarten at Woodland Heights.  I LOVE kindergarten and look forward to an exciting year of learning with your child!  I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University in 2005.  While at OU I met my husband Mike.  He is a part time teacher at Central Academy at Lake Park in Charlotte.  I recently completed my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on literacy and reading.  Our family also grew this summer, as we welcomed our first baby, James, in July. We enjoy spending time outdoors with our dog, Rylee, and frequently travel to Ohio to visit family.  Moving to North Carolina was a big change, but we love it here and hope to stay around for a long time!
