I am beginning my 31st year of teaching, all of which have been in the Iredell-Statesville  school system.  I have three children, a son Ross, who is 28 is in the Navy, married and lives in Jacksonville, Florida, a daughter, Whitney who is 27, a speech pathologist is married  and lives in Charlotte.  My youngest son Zach, is a junior at UNC-CH.  I have two grandsons Liam, who is 6 and Alex who is almost a year old.  My husband sells educational products, which comes in quite handy.  I have a master's degree in early childhood education from Appalachian State University.  I love Panther Football, UNC basketball and reading when I have time.  My true  love is working with children and kindergarten is where my heart lies!  I look forward to another fun, rewarding school year.
