Welcome to Mrs. Kay's Third Grade Classroom

 

We will master all 3rd Grade math and reading objectives. We will also master science, social studies and health curriculum.  We will work as a team with my role being the coach. Finally, we will celebrate our successes.

 

I have many years of experience teaching 3rd grade. I have also taught 2nd, Kindergarten, and High School. I ahve a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Gardner Webb. My undergraduate degree is from College of Charleston.  I have two kids: a daughter who is a Senior at USC and a son who is a student at Cape Fear Community College. 

 

This semester, I welcome Mrs. Warren to my classroom.  She is a Student Teacher, getting her Master's from UNCC.  I am sure she will be quite an asset.
