 Classroom Mission

Mrs. Munksgard's 5th grade students will be honest, caring and work hard to learn the skills needed for sixth grade and throughout life.
 
My Goal
 
    It is my goal, to give each student the desire, the confidence, and the knowledge needed to take the next step towards achieving his or her dreams.  This year, the children and I will be working hard to reach these goals.  Your assistance will be crucial to our success.  There is a saying that "It takes a community to raise a child."  Join me in making your child's fifth grade year rewarding and successful.

My name is Haley Munksgard. I was born and raised in Baytown, Texas and moved to North Carolina in 2004. I am married to my wonderful husband, Lance, and have two boys. Colton is 6 years old and Ledger is two years old in September of 2012. I also consider my two dogs part of the family. Sadie is an 11 year old Boston Terrier and Bella is a 6 year old Lab-German Shepherd mix.

I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. The 2012- 2013 school year will be my 11th year of teaching and the start of my 6th year at Woodland Heights.
