Hello!  Welcome to my page.  I'm excited to begin my sixth year teaching 5th grade here at Woodland Heights Elementary in 2012! 
 
My Classroom Mission

 We are fifth grade student's in Mrs. Bonge's class learning the skills needed to be successful in middle school and in life.  We will be responsible and respectful students by making good behavior choices, trying our best 100% of the time, and treating others the way in which we want to be treated.  Our job is to be good role models for the school while having fun and making new friends.
 
About Me
 
 
I have been teaching for several years.  I started out as a substitute teacher and have taught all grade levels preschool through high school.  I moved to North Carolina from Ohio (Go Bucks!) in April 2007, and I love it here.  I have one older sister and 1 older brother.  My family, especially my niece and three nephews, are greatly missed, but who can beat the weather down here?  I have one loveable husky, Gabby and a cat named Loki.  I'm definitely an outside girl and love the sun!  Some of my favorite activities are swimming, boating, fishing, reading, going out to eat, watching movies, visiting amusement parks, and visiting my family in Ohio whenever I get the chance.

Kent State University:  Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education Degree with Reading endorsement
I am currently taking classes this year to get my AIG certification.
