About Me


This is my 4th year teaching at Troutman Elementary.  I have taught kindergarten and 2nd Grade since I have been here!  I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I graduated from Western Carolina University in May 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education.  I have worked with kids for as long as I can remember.  I began by babysitting and teaching Sunday School.  Then I worked at a Summer Camp for three years while attending WCU.  This is my first year teaching 3rd grade and I am so glad to have such a great class!!  I'm looking forward to another great school year!
