About Me
 
Welcome to our classroom!  My name is Kelly Trudelle and this is my 15th year teaching Kindergarten at Troutman Elementary.  I really enjoy working with the students and the staff here at TES.  I was honored to be chosen as the 2007-2008 TES Teacher of the Year and was a finalist for the district Teacher of the Year.  I received National Board Certification in 2007.
 
About 14 years ago, I moved to North Carolina from Connecticut in order to teach.  Prior to moving, I earned degrees in Elementary Education as well as Developmental Psychology at Keene State College, which is located in Keene, New Hampshire.
 
After living in Statesville, Charlotte, Concord and Huntersville, I now enjoy living right here in Troutman.  My family consists of my husband Pete, our seven year old son Zack, and our son Cameron.  We have two dogs, Marley and Fenway and a cat, Aquila.  When I am not focusing on my students, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching baseball (I'm a huge Red Sox fan!), scrapbooking and being with my friends.  I look forward to an enriching first year for your child!
