For those families in Ms. Thomas's second grade, here is some information about me. I have been a teacher at Troutman Elementary for 3 years.  I have just started on a wonderful journey as a second grade teacher in Ms. Thomas's class.  I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Ms. Thomas for a couple of days before she left.  
 
The students in this class are enthusiastic and "Ready To Learn" on a daily basis. It has been a pleasure coming to work everyday.  In second grade, you always learn something new...whether you are the teacher, or student.
 
 I will be adding to this website so students can have access at home to internet activities that we do in class.  My website will also have information for parents too.

First of all, I’m the tall one on the left.  The other two in the picture are my great kids.  My daughter goes to Alabama (Roll Tide) and will be graduating in December. My son goes to Lake Norman High School and will graduate in June.  As you might have guessed, we are all a little older than we look in the picture.
 
I have taught in the Iredell Statesville School District for 7 years, and I have a Master's Degree in Regular Education and Special Education

 

  Riding in my Mustang, eating chocolate chip cookies, and beach vacations make me happy.
