Our Classroom Mission 2nd Block Mission Statement We are at TMS to learn and get a good education. We’re also here to see our friends and learn to become more responsible. We need to be nice, work in groups, respect each other, share ideas, communicate well, and cooperate. We will know that our mission has been accomplished when we pass our EOG’s, get promoted to 8th grade, have the best grades we can make, and show growth in all areas.
3rd Block Mission Statement We are at TMS to learn, make friends, get a good education, play sports, prepare for college, and get our assignments complete. We have to be able to communicate, concentrate, help each other, and be respectful. Meeting our mission will mean that we pass our EOG’s, make good grades, show growth, and have report cards that make us proud. 4th Block Mission Everyday we come to TMS so that we can get a good education, learn skills we will need later in life, be successful, get better at things we’re not good at, and to spend time with friends. We must be able to work together, work cooperatively, show respect, be on task, listen, and work as a team. Passing our EOG’s, passing 7th grade, showing growth, never giving up, reading lots of books, and making good grades will all show that we’ve accomplished our mission. About Me I've lived in Iredell County most of my life. I went to Scotts Elementary, West Middle, and West Iredell High School. After graduating, I went to Appalachian State in Boone. While I was at ASU I met my husband, Wally. After getting married we moved around with his job for several years, but in 2002 we settled in back in NC. We have 1 son. His name is Mark. We also have 3 dogs. All 3 of them are black labs. Their names are Roscoe, Daisy, and Ace. In my spare time I like to travel. Asheville and Boone are two of my favorite North Carolina cities. Charleston is my favorite place to visit in South Carolina. I'm also an avid reader. I enjoy reading a variety of genres. One of my favorite authors is Nicolas Sparks. I must also admit that I'm a Twilight fan...actually I like most books that have vampires!! My family and I like to go to the movies, shop, and have fun together. We are huge sports fans. We go to ASU football games. We also enjoy watching Carolina Tarheel basketball.
