My name is Mrs. Cheryl Long. I have a bachelor’s degree In Elementary Education from West Liberty University in West Virginia and a Masters degree in Speech Communication for Elementary teachers from West Virginia University. I taught 4th and 5th grade full time for 5 years in Ohio County schools in Wheeling, WV and substituted in grades k-5 in Ohio County for 2 years before coming to North Carolina. My family relocated to NC in August of 2005, and I taught 4th grade for 4 years and this is my fourth year in 5th grade here at TES. I have a passion for both children and teaching, and I do my best to make a positive impact in each of my student’s lives.  My goal is to have your son or daughter show growth and get a level 3 or 4 on the Reading, Math, and Science  EOG. I am looking forward to working with your child this year.
