About Me

I was born in California and raised in Illinois where I attended college.  After getting married, I taught for two years and then moved to Florida with my husband where we raised our two children.  I taught in Florida for 18 years.  In 2003, we moved to western North Carolina and then to this area in 2005.  I have taught for a total of 30 years in grades 1 through 6.
 
I have three wonderful grandchildren in Mooresville that keep me very busy.  I also enjoy reading, quilting, gardening, and painting.
