We are here to learn.  We want to learn our numbers and abc's.  We want to learn to write and read.  We will do this by practicing and doing our homework every day.

 

 

 

     About Me

     My name is Carla Long.  My husband, Steve and I are both originally from Missouri.  I attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri for both my BS and MS degrees in  elementary education, with an emphasis in early childhood.  I taught kindergarten in Missouri before marrying my husband in 1984.

We moved to North Carolina due to my husband's career with Nascar.  We both love this area and now consider it our home. 

I have been teaching for ISS since 1993.  I have been at Third Creek Elementary since it opened in 2002.
