Mission Statement
 
Our mission is to learn 2nd grade skills so that we can move on to third grade next year.  We will do this by listening, following all directions, doing our best, and making good grades.
 
About Me
 
This is my fourth year of teaching and my third year teaching 2nd grade at Shepherd Elementary. I taught 4th grade at Union Grove Elementary. I did my student teaching in 2nd grade at Cool Spring Elementary and was also an assistant at Cool Spring and Lakeshore Elementary. I have really enjoyed teaching and working in the school system.
 
I received my Associates Degree from Catawba Valley Community College and then I attended Gardner-Webb University in Statesville where I received my Bachelor's Degree.
 
I have been married for four and a half years and have a ten month old little boy named Braylon. My husband and I love to travel and spend time with family. We also love playing with our two year old Boston Terrier, Maisy.
