Welcome to Fourth Grade. 
 
Our Classroom Mission

Our class will learn all of the fourth grade subjects and we will all pass the EOG's. We will learn how to learn.  We will do this by paying attention, by working hard, and by doing our best everyday.  By becoming life-long learners, we can accomplish anything.
About Me
 
I have always been interested in being a teacher because I have a love of learning and I believe in the value of education.
 
Upon graduation from high school, I attended Western New England College and earned a Bachelors Degree in Finance.  I worked for many years in the financial services industry. Eight  years ago I decided to leave the business world and purse a career in teaching. I returned to school and earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Anna Maria College.
 
This is my ninth year as a teacher. I taught 5th grade for two years at Abby Kelley Foster Regional Charter School in Worcester, MA.  I left Massachusetts to become a member of the Celeste Henkel family. I taught third grade at Celeste for five years.
 
This year I am thrilled to be teaching fourth grade at Shepherd Elementary again.  I look forward to an exciting year teaching your child.  In order for this year to be successful for the students, we must all work together as a team.  Without a doubt, TOGETHER, we can make this a FANTASTIC year for the children in this class.
