Schedule
     The media center will operate on a flexible schedule with teachers and students this year in 2nd - 5th grades.  That means the schedule will change daily based on the times that teachers have signed their classes up for.  We will also have open check out for students in grades 2nd - 5th that can check out books independently.
     Kindergarten will come weekly from around 11:30 am to 12 noon.
     1st grade will come to the media center weekly from 12:45 - 1:25 pm.
*The media center sign up schedule is available to view at the media center circulation desk.  It changes everyday daily.  If you have any questions please
contact Mrs. Edwards.

     The mission of the Shepherd Media Center is to help students learn how the books are organized, special terms used here, proper care of books, and improve students' reading.  We will do this by reading, listening to stories, paying attention, following rules and directions.
 
About Me

     I moved to Mooresville, NC summer of 2008 with my husband and son.  My son, Luke, is a 7th grade student at  Mooresville Middle School.  I also have 2 daughters.   My  26 yr. old daughter, Adrian, works for Discovery and lives in Washington, DC.  My 22 yr. old daughter, Autumn, graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and is a graduate student working on her teaching ceritification at UNCC in elementary education.
I like to travel, hike, garden, exercise... and of course I LOVE TO READ!
I am originally from Oak Ridge, TN.  I have lived in Virginia, Florida and Alabama.
 
     My Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Special Education are from
Tennessee Tech University
